“AIM to Rise from the Sonoran Sun” Mural
Transforming dull surfaces into vibrant spaces, one wall at a time!
This mural was created for AIM, a school where students learn to become aircraft mechanics. The mural is located in an area used for engine runs, making aviation a central focus of the design. The mural features a phoenix rising over the desert, mirroring the upward movement of an aircraft. The phoenix was chosen as a direct reference because of the school’s location being in Phoenix, Arizona. AIM’s logo was incorporated at both ends of the wall and modified as aircraft contrails, to appear as if its being left behind from the aircraft in the logo.
